What is Scrapbooking?
Remember photo albums before photos lived in a phone? Scrapbooks are basically fancy photo albums with other "stuff". Here's what you might see on a scrapbook page with a page of my lovely bunny Molly as an example:
Yes, the pointing finger thing is a tad creepy. I could use arrows but the hand has sort of become my thing now so we're stuck with it.
You can have anything you like on the page. Some people write tons of text, some have loads of photos. The story can be told in the third person or you can get all cutesy and have the subject of the photo tell it. I only do this with my rabbits, by the way, but then they also had their own blog... If you look through the albums on this site you'll see all kinds of things and we can teach you to do all of it. Don't worry, we start out with simple pages!
You can make these scrapbooks with actual paper, printed photos, sticky bits but I tried that for a few years and it looked like a three year old had got into the craft cupboard. I much prefer digital. You can make digital pages look very realistic. We'll show you that too.
You can print your pages and put them into an album, you can make a photobook (basically a bound album), you can make slideshows, you can put them back on your phone. Just please show them to people!
