What do you do when you forgot to take photos or - back in the bad old days - the roll of film fell into the river?

Try to include the story anyway!

In this page I used a sunset photo (we all take hundreds of them, right?) but I didn't have a photo of the venue or, needless to say, photos of the magical moment when we saw mama and baby dolphin. So I added the pizza element and told the story anyway. For those who don't watch Corrie, Freshco's was the name of the supermarket. Who can forget Reg Holdsworth, the manager? Lots of people called it Freshco's!

You can also use brochures, tickets etc as I did in this page of the roller coaster at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina.

Of course, you can always splash out and buy someone else's photos. We wanted a picture of our churros finding expedition in Vigo but only had a dull street photo so I used a scan of the Spanish book and bought some photos from istockphoto.
