My Memories - Overview

My Memories is a very easy program which is part of the StoryRock "family". basically this means if you can use My Memories you will also find it easy to use Memory Mixer (and vice versa).

There are various ways to make a scrapbook page in My Memories:

[Note: Some of these tutorials have been written for older versions of the program and will be replaced in due course but you should still be able to follow them]

1) Using a MMS template

The page has been made for you so you just add your photos and any text you want. Although the page has been made you can move things around.

Using a template is a good way to start finding your way around the program. The tutorial is HERE.

2) Using a photo template

Boxes have been added for your photos and this makes life easy as even experienced scrapbookers can get stuck on where and how to position photos. You choose the background and any embellishments yourself.

3) Using a quickpage

Quickpages are fully complete pages with holes in for your photos. You will collect lots of free quickpages! You can move anything on the page but you can add things. Quickpage tutorials are HERE.

4) Making a page from scratch

You start with a blank page and choose everything
- background, photos, embellishments, text etc

There are actually TWO ways to make a page from scratch:

- Use the papers and embellishments loaded into the program, OR

- Use "outside content" ie any kits you happen to have stored on your computer

Or you can use a combination of these.
