Travel: Planning The Trip

" I can't sleep, I'm so excited". Well, there's a page right there. Kids (or grown-ups) in pyjamas awake at 2 am!

Take photos of the "we're going to Disney" reveal, new clothes, the tickets if you are lucky enough to get actual tickets rather than having to print your own e-stuff, luggage labels etc etc.

My parents used to enter - and win - competitions and one prize was a trip to Kenya. It was years ago and we didn't have many photos but I made a surprise album and included the competition flyer and the company letter. Elements from Natalie's Corner Quest For Adventure.

Here, not surprisingly, the Project Life page for the week before a cruise was all about planning the cruise. The really annoying thing is that I didn't take that spotted mac in the end and now I can't find it. It's vanished!

Got guidebooks? Include them! I often include pictures of the language books too so that people can mock me...

While we're on the topic of Before The Trip, include the leaving home pics and the waiting, waiting, waiting....

Our good neighbour takes us on the arduous two mile journey to the ships in Southampton. He gets into most of the scrapbooks. Here are just two pages.

One from 2004:

And one with a pic he took of us in 2016:

The photo of John in the cruise terminal made it into its own page. This was a quickpage from the Lily Pad's Life Is An Adventure blog hop. I softened the photo with the Tadaa app.
