Using MyMemories Templates
MyMemories Templates are very easy to use. The pages are designed for you and all you have to do is add your photos and any extra bits you want, like text. They are like Quickpages (see this page if you want to learn about quickpages) except that you can move things around and delete any elements you don't want.
You can use templates just as they are or change things around to make the page your own, It's up to you.
NOTE: My Memories templates are NOT the same as templates you will see advertised for use in Photo Shop and Paint Shop Pro. The MMS templates only work in My Memories (or a similar program, for example Memory Mixer where templates are called "quickmixes")

Tutorial
This tutorial covers everything you need to know right from opening the template to saving your album. It uses a template that comes installed in the program as an example so you don't need to buy and download a template.

Using Templates That Aren't There ....
Having too many templates running in My Memories can slow the program down. A dozen is fine, a hundred is not. The good news is you can use them without having them installed. There's an article on the blog which explains how to do it.
Can I use "Outside Templates"?
These are the templates created as psd files for use in PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro. No, you can't use them as they're intended BUT you can get a lot of use out of them.See the following tutorials:
